The lights are dim
The music's loud
No-one sees you
Lost in the crowd
With eyes lit up
You tap your feet
Your body moving
In time with the beat
Drinking a beer
Chatting with friends
Just being yourself
No need to pretend
No screaming fans
No public glare
Just a great night out
Then home to Bear.

What is it about you?
What is it about you
What is it you do
That make so many
Fall in love with you?
Is it your smile
That lights up a room
Lifting our spirits
Dispelling the gloom.
Is it your laugh
So hearty and strong
Something so natural
Cannot be wrong.
Is it your voice
So soft and deep
Making us tremble
And our hearts leap
Is it your face
That makes us forget
to remember to breathe
So beautiful and yet
All of these things
That complete the whole
They point to a man
With a beautiful soul
I've never met you
But inside I know
There is a pureness
It's why we love you so.

Water For Elephants Memories.
The premieres have now come and gone
But the memories are seared in my brain
Of watching you walk in each sexy new suit
I click on replay again and again.
You stopped and smiled with pen poised
Signing autographs for all your fans
Your thoughtfulness was plain to see
Even when security had other plans!
Posing for photographs, hand in hair
Papparazzi all calling your name
A mix of shyness and awe in your face
Still amazed at this level of fame.
Yet as I watch you, it's not hard to see
The charisma so natural and true
Your beautiful face lit up by the lights
Surely now Rob you must know we love YOU.
But the memories are seared in my brain

Happy Birthday Rob. 13 th May 2011
I wish you love
I wish you joy
From this old broad
To a handsome boy
But the boy has gone
Now stands the man
The perfect specimen
In God's plan
May every wish
Of yours come true
And good luck enters
In all you do
So dont you groan
Or make a pout
As your candles flicker
When you blow them out
Just know you are loved
By all, far and wide
Happy Birthday Rob
We say with pride
Twenty five years
Have gone in a blink
To the next twenty five
I raise my drink!
I wish you joy
From this old broad
To a handsome boy
But the boy has gone
Now stands the man
The perfect specimen
In God's plan
May every wish
Of yours come true
And good luck enters
In all you do
So dont you groan
Or make a pout
As your candles flicker
When you blow them out
Just know you are loved
By all, far and wide
Happy Birthday Rob
We say with pride
Twenty five years
Have gone in a blink
To the next twenty five
I raise my drink!

Your Beautiful Face
Your face, so breathtaking
Do you even know?
This affect you have
This inner glow?
Such a yearning look
My breathing fails
Into insignificance
All else pales
You bring me joy
Of the purest kind
That also ignites
Lustful flames to mind
This glorious picture
With my finger I trace
As I stop and stare
At your beautiful face.
Do you even know?
This affect you have
This inner glow?
Such a yearning look
My breathing fails
Into insignificance
All else pales
You bring me joy
Of the purest kind
That also ignites
Lustful flames to mind
This glorious picture
With my finger I trace
As I stop and stare
At your beautiful face.

The Twilight Saga Wrap.
Wanna take a trip down memory lane?
Hold my hand and I'll take you there
Wanna reminisce on the good times shared?
Feast your eyes on all Twilight fare.
Remember that time you held your breath
The door opened and in Edward loped
Admit you breathed a sigh of relief
Rob was everything and more than you'd hoped.
He sat down in that cafeteria chair
Dressed in black from head to toe
With his amber eyes and bronze coloured hair
You realised that you loved him so.
In Bella's bedroom, your heartbeat racing
As he leaned in for that longed for kiss
Their breaths panting, and so was yours
How you wanted a taste of such bliss.
Dancing together held in his arms
Prom night was never this good
Looking so sexy in his dark fitted suit
On his feet you wished you stood.
New Moon and that sexy car park lope
Who could resist Edward in slow motion?
The Romeo and Juliet recital in class
A sensual Shakespeare potion.
The bedroom scene and his shy proposal
His soft words of love made you melt
The look of joy when Bella said yes
Every emotion of Edward's you felt.
Now Twilight and Edward is coming to an end
“It's a wrap” the director yells out
Edward, my first love, no more in a scene
I am heartbroken, without a doubt.
I am sure Rob and Kristen together will share
A sad tear or two in their hearts
As they wave goodbye to Edward and Bella
And a silent thanks for these wonderful parts.

That Magical Beginning
The sun rose, throwing down gauntlets of light
As the breeze caught the tent in her hand
The smell of testosterone mixed with the grease
In this magical circus land.
The sounds of the ropes and the men's grunts
The smell of dirt and sweat in the air
Then with one last pull the big top was up
Exhilarated, I could only stop and stare.
I stood all alone in that centre ring
My mind a whirl of wonder and delight
Then an angel came riding, smiling at me
I knew I had fallen in love at first sight.
All sights and sounds disappeared in the mist
As our eyes refused to pull away
I knew in that moment she felt the same
And I marvel at it to this day.
Now I am ancient and memories fade
But that first look remains in my heart
My Marlena, my love, my life
This was the beginning, the wondrous start.
